"Ok guys, we won last night and were gonna win tonight. Then we win tomorrow. That's called a winning streak. It HAS happened before."
-Lou Brown
Leadoff triple, followed by a pop up. Now Gonzalez up for the Padres. Arroyo is usually good at pitching out of trouble. Would settle for one run here.
Gonzalez flies to short center. Runner holds. I'm no longer willing to give up one run.
Kouzmanoff doubles home the run.
First inning blues again for the Reds.
K ends the inning.
1-0 Pads.

Why in the world is AGon batting 2nd???
.530 OBP for the top two hitters in the Reds lineup tonight.
Combined.

The Dumbletastic Duo: making sure Votto comes up with the bases empty and two outs most of the time.
Reds go down in order. I've always kind of liked Correia. I wish the Reds had him. He's better than Owings IMO.
Reds go in order. Votto swings at ball four and Ks.
With this lineup, the Pads may already have the margin of victory with their one run.
I've been out of pocket, I was surprised to see Tatum catching tonight, did I miss something with Hanigan?
I've been watching all season, as you have. No lead against the Reds is too small.
Pads get second and third but pitcher grounds to EE who gets the man on third in a rundown. Two out, first and third.
Fly out. Inning ends. Arroyo lucky that nobody scores.
As larkin points out, Reds lumber coming up.
Fantasic at bat by Mr. Nix.
Even better by Mr. Gomes. Loved that nice easy swing to hit it to RC.
