I think he's still unproven. He never had to carry the load at Bama like some previous Tide backs did.

Elam just went to the Ravens

How has Dalton not produced? 20+ tds in his first two seasons and two playoff appearances. You can go through this history books and not find many QBs who have done that.

I love what the Rams did this draft. They finally, after god knows how many years of pulling my hair out, get a high quality play maker in the first round.

Yep, Jeff Fisher knows what he is doing.

I am a Saints fan and I think we really overdrafted that safety in the 1st Round.
I always get a uncomfortable feeling watching those players wait to hear their name. I feel bad for Geno Smith and hope he uses this as motivation.

Didn't you know they agreed to it 2 weeks before and thats how long it took for the NFL to process it. ;)

Vince Young might not agree with you. :D
Re: 2013 Official NFL Draft Thread
I'm pretty happy with Eifert being the choice. I think the fact they took him signals the change to getting more creative on offense. Though don't care for Gruden suggesting he is a "Back Up", back up and #2 aren't necessarily the same thing. Some interesting sets to be had with Orson Charles as an H-Back and Hawkins as the #2 with Eifert and Gresham on the field at the same time.
Now for today's rounds (without Andre signed):
2A - Eddy Lacy - RB - Bama
2B - Terron Armstead - OT - Ark. Pine Bluff
3rd - Phillip Thomas - S - Fresno St.
or
2A - Jonathan Cyprien - S - FIU
2B - Terron Armstead - OT - Ark. Pine Bluff
3rd - Jonathan Franklin - RB - UCLA
(My guess here is that we only get Menelik Watson if he is our 2A pick and so I went with either RB or Safety 1st therefore we drop down to Armstead).
With Andre Signed:
2A - Eddy Lacy - RB - 'Bama
2B - D.J. Swearinger - S - South Carolina
3rd - DeVonte Holloman - OLB - South Carolina
Something along these lines.

I don't think so, Vaccaro is a really good coverage Safety and in this day and age that is a must, not many teams have a good one.

Fisher didn't want Young, that was the owner.

Remember this name at RB, Latavius Murray UCF.
Re: 2013 Official NFL Draft Thread
Hoping the Bengals take Barrett Jones if he's still there @ pick #84.
Oh yeah, they just signed Andre Smith to a 3-year deal so that's another position they won't have to fill. :D
