This tragedy sucks.
It's still the truth.
Responsible gun ownership would have stopped this.
Re: School shooting in CT
I can't fathom what it would take to do something like this. I'm genuinely shocked, and that's tough to do.

I have a lot of respect for you as a poster. I know a lot of others do as well. Don't flush it down the toilet. Take your political arguments elsewhere.

I'm honestly not being political. I'm outraged right now.
Heart goes out to those who lost someone, cannot fathom it.
Wasn't trying to start a debate, just so angry that this ahole didn't get stopped sooner.
Re: School shooting in CT
So many emotions running through me right now. I haven't felt this way after hearing a news report since the morning of 9/11. I just want to hug my niece and twin nephews, who are celebrating their 4th and 2nd birthdays this weekend.

We can all agree that there is a universal desire to ensure the safety of all children at school, but I echo the sentiment of others that this is not the time nor the place to politicise today's events.

Agree, my remarks were made off the cuff, no intent to politicize this tragedy. Apologies.

The pictures online of this are just heart breaking. Kids being led out of a school crying and parents on the phone in hysterics. Just awful.

To post that here, just makes me pissed off. Just so you know. I'm a father of 4 girls, 2 in elementary schools. I actually feel nauseous right now. I can only imagine how those parents must feel right now. Right before christmas. *sigh* :(

Fourth grader told Eyewitness News that a scream was heard over the intercom this morning and then shut off.
Sources are also reporting that the gunman went classroom to classroom shooting adults and children. There were piles of bodies seen inside the school and there are reports of a whole classroom missing.
Connecticut has called surrounding states for more medical examiners because they do not have enough to conduct autopsies.
Again, I can barely process how horrifying this is. The descriptions of this are something you'd expect to hear from Auschwitz. People effing scare me.

Let it go. He made a quick reply, he apologized. Let's focus on what's important here.
Re: School shooting in CT
I am stunned at the senselessness of it all. Shooting little kids? Thoughts and prayers to that community.
