Re: Monday June 11, 2012 Minor League Updates
It looks like Dayton has moved to Milb.tv. Tonight seems to be their first night and well, the angles they are using leave a lot to be desired. They seem to be shooting from the dugout wells and are so far zoomed in on the pitcher that you can't see his legs and the same goes for the hitter. No CF camera. Hopefully that gets fixed because with how things are being shot right now, you can't even see if the hitter makes contact with the ball.

BTW, the Blaze are 3.5 games up in first place. They're the only Reds' minor league team with a winning record (although Pensacola is knocking on the door).
Pensacola might be our best team by the end of the year when all the promotions are done. The 4 remaining all stars are more than likely headed there.
Re: Monday June 11, 2012 Minor League Updates
Louisville picked up a run in the top of the 8th to momentarily make things interesting. They left the tying run on third. Scott Carroll comes on and gives it right back in the home half of the frame. Bats lose 3-1. Felix Perez, Dioner Navarro (.309) and Joey Gathright (.338) with two base knocks each.
Pedro Villarreal allows only one earned run in 7IP.
Re: Monday June 11, 2012 Minor League Updates
Dayton ended up winning 9-5. Buckley had a single to go with the two doubles. Kyle Waldrop homered and singled.
Re: Monday June 11, 2012 Minor League Updates
Pensacola was suspended in the fourth, leading 2-1. Joel Guzman doubled home the runs. Corcino's line: 3.1 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 1 K. 1 HR. 54 pitches.
Re: Monday June 11, 2012 Minor League Updates
Pensacola game is now cancelled, and will not be made up.
Re: Monday June 11, 2012 Minor League Updates
Bakersfield falls behind 2-0 as Sharky Rogers, pitching around Miles Head, hangs a slider that just now might be landing. It stays that way until the Blaze score two in the eighth and then double that again in the ninth. They end up winning 6-3. Rogers gives up the two-run blast in five. Pat Doyle goes three scoreless in relief. Tucker Barnhart hits a game-tying inside-the-parker in the eighth. He has two other hits on the night. Hamilton walks to lead off the ninth. Uh oh. He steals second (72) and all sorts of bedlam ensues. Four runs later the dust clears. Bowe (.378) had three hits for the game as did Barnhart. Lohman and Mattair had two hits apiece. Tucker Barnhart is en fuego. He as hit safely in all ten of his last ten games. His line during that span is .361/.425/.528/.953.

Any time frame for Lutz's return?

Outstanding to see Dayton and Pensacola on board (with Louisville) !!!!
Re: Monday June 11, 2012 Minor League Updates
Inside the Parker for a catcher? That has to be pretty rare.
Pensacola could have like 90% of the top prospects in the organization by te time the year is out. At least out of the guys in full season ball.

The organization overall is looking really good right now,
We have a ton of arms at the A thru AA level, and some decent hitting prospects in that area also.
