So did I. He's in the early lead.

Voted Duran, too much potential to drop so quickly. IMO he gets another year before proves he is not a top 15 prospect

Re: Who is Redszone's #15 prospect?
None of the guys now on the list, except LeCure, have better than a 50/50 shot of ever even playing in the majors. Most, much less than that.
That's why I'm voting for LeCure.
Re: Who is Redszone's #15 prospect?
I'll go with Lotzkar. Would be a top ten pick, gets discounted due to injuries. I think the 15 range is correct for him.
One thing about Lotzkar, so far when he is healthy, he is lights out.
Re: Who is Redszone's #15 prospect?
I voted LeCure, but only so he wouldn't be on this list anymore. The guy will be 27 in May. He's not a prospect. He's just like Matt Maloney in my book -- a finished product who simply hasn't been deemed good enough to be kept on the 25 man roster.
Re: Who is Redszone's #15 prospect?
Junior Arias. Only Juan Duran has comparable tools of those left on the board and his numbers aren't nearly as good.

This.

Lotzkar again for me..every round since 6 when the choice for me was between KL and Guillon. Admittedly, others have a higher probability of reaching the majors. A 20 yo pitcher who has already had a serious injury has a treacherous path yet to walk. If he stays healthy, however, Lotzkar profiles as a TOR starter.
It would be interesting to attempt to capture the RZ voting strategy as a linear combination of several factors. The factors might include the following.
probability of reaching majors
perceived ceiling at ML level
purity of position profile
difficulty of position to fill
Re: Who is Redszone's #15 prospect?
Went with Lotzkar here. Super talented and came back strong.
Re: Who is Redszone's #15 prospect?
I'm on the Lotzkar bus, as well. Like a lot of folks, I've been holding back on him because of the injury thing. But he was healthy and fantastic toward the end of the year, so the question becomes, can he stay healthy. I opted to have faith. In that light, I probably should have voted him sooner.
