Is the Alonso to LF experiment over?
If ALonso to LF is dead, then its time to start lining up offers
The experiment will be revived, I predict, when Alonso starts to get his OPS up around .900. I'm still 100% convinced that Alonso will make it clear that having him, Joey Votto, and Jay Bruce in the lineup together is the key to winning the division, perhaps even this year. In any case, and I hate to say it, Votto is pressing his case to be put in that elite group of first basemen whose contract demands will be, I'm afraid, beyond what the Reds can pay.
