His body isn't young enough yet.
Slap hitters don't get much attention. His Isolated slugging percentage is .075, and to be honest, even for a middle infielder that is real low. Toss in the fact that BP plays his position and the Reds have some thing for 'Hands of old Gold' there is no need for him.
Mystery is how anybody could ever have thought he was an upgrade from B. Harris, who does have some power.
Another thought: seems to me it's about time for a promotion to AAA of Drew Anderson. .299/.353/.489/.842. Let's see if he can make the next step.
