I've done a RedsZone league in the past, and I would join it again.
we did one last year, I'm always interested.
I'll do one if it's through Yahoo.
I would be up for one as long as it wasn't 5x5 or anything that even remotely rewards the stolen base.
Bring it!
There's no way you guys can keep up with my endless string of lateral moves.
I'm down if it's on Yahoo and is a 5x5 Roto league...
Uh oh our first league disagreement LOL
I've never played fantasy bball b/f... can someone give me the low-down between roto and h2h?
I'll do it if it's not Yahoo, a pay league, and stolen bases only.
H2H is like fantasy football. You match up with another team in the league and over a week try to compile a better BA, more HR, more R, more RBI, and more SB. For pitchers you want to have more W, lower ERA and WHIP, more K, and more Saves. (the traditional "5x5" categories). The team who wins a majority of the 5x5 categories gets the Win for that week, and you continue to play it out for the entire 26 week season.
Roto is the traditional version of fantasy baseball. (I'm biased, so might I add the best! :)) Rather than matching up against a specific team, you are matched against the rest of the league. You use the same 5x5 categories. For each category the team with the most/best gets points equal to the number of teams in the league. (For example, in a standard 12 team league, if you have the most home runs of any team in the league then you get 12 points. Second gets 11 points, and so on...) The team with the most overall points is in first place.
I hope that helps... :)
Count me in on a 5x5 Yahoo league....
I prefer H2H also, although depending on how editable the league would be, I'm ALSO for taking out SB. I have no problem with a 4X5 league (and I've seen them many times.)
I will play in a Yahoo 5x5 roto league. Sounds like fun.
OK, is someone keeping track?
I'm getting my best smack talk together.
