Re: 9/9/2013 Cubs at Reds

I think the Reds have a tough call to make about Hanigan next season. He's a fine defender, these pitchers like him, occasionally gets a key hit.
But the Reds need to get much more offense out of catcher. One way to accomplish that is to get a better hitter to share the position with Mes.

Good luck next year Arroyo...

No, because we have Cingrani who will pitch as good or better than him for about 10+ million dollars less......see the difference?

no - because the Reds have a replacement ready at a minimum price...it's time to tip our cap to Bronson and move on, that's all
Re: 9/9/2013 Cubs at Reds
Brandon putting on a show this half inning. Appropriate with Joe in the booth. :O)

I miss him in the booth. He's my favorite tv analyst. I never understood why so many hated him in that capacity.

Personally, I see Leake as Bronson's following act. In a rotation of flamethrowers...you NEED a guy who'll change the pace.

I like him but he is very old school in his thinking - and I am old school so he doesn't rub me wrong...although I accept most of the new line of thinking - I just love to hear him when he starts to reminisce

Brandon looked to be in pain, especially on that 1st play. Morgan commented that BP had a leg issue.
