G. Jones struck out looking
- P. Alvarez grounded out to second
- J. Tabata struck out swinging

Votto should have 60 RBIs but doesn't have enough base runners to knock in.
By the way, Votto was safe at home, the replay shows.
He was safe, but the throw was good. I've watched the Buccos play some this season and they just don't make plays like that.
Except against us.

13th of the season for the Bruce
Re: Pirates at Reds 6-7-12
It should be 5-0 Reds. Votto should have scored. Phillips should have been on for the Bruce homer.
And the first two hitters should have high OBPs and should have been on base and then scored.
I want a blow out tonight so I can catch some NBA.
Re: Pirates at Reds 6-7-12
Frazier swung like a home run hitter. Just happened to miss.

Because guys with high OBP's are ALWAYS on base. *grin*
Re: Pirates at Reds 6-7-12
I wonder if Ryan thinks you only get one pitch to hit? :)
That was right down broadway though, he's forgiven.

Against this pitcher they would have been. I guarantee it.
And Ludwick should have had a hit too in the second. Hit it right back up the middle. Bucs had the nerve to position their players well.
Can't get a break.
1-0 Reds.

Just saw the replay of the play at the plate. Looked out to me. FSO must've had a different angle.
