RIP Earl.
He believed in acquiring bases nine at a time.
Somehow, I can't see Earl arguing with a computer making the calls, or it being nearly as entertaining. Earl was a fantastic manager and great for the game. The Earl of Baltimore. RIP
So sad. RIP Earl.

RIP Earl.
The article mentions that Weaver died while on an Orioles Fantasy Cruise. I'm wishing the Reds would put together something like that! Wouldn't it be great to take a cruise with Reds players/staff on board the ship!!! :)
Hello, Reds PR department!!! Somebody take note of this, then sign my family up! :)
Earl Weaver was one of a kind. He was a big part of Orioles baseball. RIP Earl.
I imagine the O's will wear some kind of patch this year in his honor.
My favorite manager ever

Earl Weaver

Earl Weaver
You can't sit on a lead and run a few plays into the line and just kill the clock. You've got to throw the ball over the damn plate and the other man has his chance. That's why baseball is the greatest game of them all.
Earl Weaver
Great baseball mind and what a great and salty and colorful character. I loved watching and listening to him.
RIP Earl. You will be misssed.
