Re: 9/23/13 -- Reds vs Mets; Choo's back!
Well that cliches it for me. I have Cueto in the playoff rotation, with backup measures in place.

Really nice 7th for Cueto. I was wrong.

I don't care if you're a players manager or a total jerk, you're not going to please everyone. Always gonna have that one guy that's pissed off at the world. Not that Mez is that guy, but if je expects to have a job handed to him he has another thing coming. I started the season down on Mez, he has showed me some things this year, but hasn't taken the job from Hanny. That's what he needs to do!

Yep, I was worried for nothing. Cueto looked great-o.

To be fair, he walked a guy, and the 3rd out was a well hit ball.
But he looked composed and didn't run out of gas. That's what I liked.

Plus, I get the feeling he was holding back a bit just to be safe. In the playoffs, I imagine that won't be the case. Assuming the Reds use him, thats a huge upgrade from Leake when facing a good hitting team like the Cards, Dodgers, and Braves.
Re: 9/23/13 -- Reds vs Mets; Choo's back!
And, unsurprisingly, LaRoche grounded out ending the threat. Still 2-1 Nats now bottom 4. Whoever the poster was who gets "nervous and frustrated" about letting a team stay close, can get nervous about this one since the close team is the Cards.

Do people who kiss their dogs on the snout realize where those snouts have been?

Latos, Bailey, Bronson and Cueto with Leake available if anyone gets in trouble early?

"They" have different hygiene standards than you and me.

Sure. And I might swap Bronson and Cueto.
