Re: 6/12/2013 Reds at Cubs Afternoon Game
Bruce makes them pay with a 60 foot dribbler on a good pitch to hit.
Re: 6/12/2013 Reds at Cubs Afternoon Game
Looks like it's up to our 8th inning pitching.
Re: 6/12/2013 Reds at Cubs Afternoon Game
Yeesh, Robinson never even got to third.
Re: 6/12/2013 Reds at Cubs Afternoon Game
Votto thinks right field is closed...
Re: 6/12/2013 Reds at Cubs Afternoon Game
So the lefty reliever retires Choo, Votto, and Bruce.
But Robinson and Phillips get on, one intentionally.
Dusty's Exhibit A.
Re: 6/12/2013 Reds at Cubs Afternoon Game
Dusty just took a couple of nitro pills (going into the 8th inning pitching with a one-run lead).
Re: 6/12/2013 Reds at Cubs Afternoon Game
Choo, Votto and Bruce all looked inept vs. Russell

You guys deal with Raisor, I'm just watching a ball game.
Leake pitching the eighth. C'mon Mike.

Like I said earlier, I like this lineup, but have to admit, that was ugggggly.

Yes. Russell is the type who's very tough on lefties. Not a good lineup there for a pitcher like him.

Leake strikeout machine. 94 pitches
Re: 6/12/2013 Reds at Cubs Afternoon Game
Good job by Choo to cut that ball off. Looked like a sure double for Barney, but you don't run on that arm.
