Ludwick grounds into a 6-4-3 DP. Belt barely stayed on the bag. 4-0 Reds mid 5th.

Arroyo needs to step it up here...

No kidding. I remember watching a game earlier in the season where the Reds were trailing 2-1 or 3-1 in the 3rd or 4th inning and feeling nervous. I remember thinking, "Huh, this is odd, but I have to acknowledge the Reds may not come back."
Of course they did come back and tied it. And I remember thinking as soon as the game was tied that everything was fine and clearly the Reds were going to win the game.
On this August day I realized that if the Reds have a lead I pretty much expect them to win every time because it's a pretty reasonable expectation that the other team wont score any more runs. In fact if it's gotten to the 4th or 5th inning and it's tied, I pretty much expect the Reds to win because it's quite reasonable to expect that the Reds will be the next team to score, and it's already the fourth inning so the opponent has already scored as much as they are going to score.
I have absolutely never had this much confidence in a team. I don't know how to explain it.

Kontos: "That's what I'm talking about."
Me too, George. Me too.

I am 23 in a few weeks. I look like a 16 year old compared to Bumgarner.

I think it would be OK if he simply continues on his present course.
