LOL ... if Dusty can take credit for all of Heisey's hits by saying he is putting him in situations to be successful, how much more successful has he been in putting Ludwick in situations where he can be successful. I wonder what his ba. would be if Dusty wasn't able to get him in those situations?

If the front office wanted Chapman to start, he would be starting RIGHT NOW. What progress is Chapman making towards being a starting pitcher in his current role? NONE. It was one thing that first year to say we were going to let him get his feet wet or try to stretch him out for the rest of the season.
However, he should have been back as a starter the very next season. Our FO has botched this thing from the get-go. I was against Chapman ever moving to a relief role back when it first happened and this is exactly the reason why. The organization is not willing to sacrifice his talents in the minors so that he can develop into a starter.
My apologies. I understood your post to mean that you strongly endorsed the how Chapman has been handled so far. I must be losing my touch.
