Re: 8/23/2013 Brewers at Reds
Khris Davis owns the Reds.
Simon has great numbers, but I just can't trust him.

Another HR on a fastball. Not to mention his scouting reports suggest he murders fastballs. As do the on field results. Maybe the Reds should pitch him differently.
Re: 8/23/2013 Brewers at Reds
This much is clear - make a mistake to this guy wearing a Reds uni and he will make you pay.

Ugh, Khris Davis thinks he's Chris Davis.

Crap. Not sure that was gone. Looked like the guy leaned over to snag it.

That's an awfully big generalization and not one that lends itself to successful scouting.
Some guys are fastball hitters, some are better with offspeed stuff. Some are high ball hitters, some are low ball hitters. There's no one set characteristic among hitters.
Re: 8/23/2013 Brewers at Reds
Oh man. And that one-run shot is somehow even more painful.

And it's no more fair for you to assume he's wrong, since what little we have seen supports his opinion.
There's so much acrimony around here. Anytime anyone makes even a mildly declarative statement of opinion someone is at the ready to argue with them. It's gone beyond just fun discussion. It's become a collection of people who get off on winning arguments and that culture is pervasive.
You speak the truth, brother. I don't even post much anymore, because of the posters you're referring to. They completely ruin the site.
Re: 8/23/2013 Brewers at Reds
If you want to win the division, you can't lose games to the Brewers at home.
Re: 8/23/2013 Brewers at Reds
Genette. Aoki and Davis are 3 of my least favorite players in baseball.
We're going to lose a home opener to the Brewers. Blech.

Geez. Scooter scoots one over now.
