Matt Holiday conveniently forgives Peralta
Amazing / sarcasm -- out spoken critic suddenly decides to forgive one player for PED use --- and the player just happens to be a new team mate -- I did not see any mention in the article of him forgiving any other players.

Take one step back, inject some B12 vitamins and all will be OK. I guess Holliday is in a non-baseball pickle. Nice to know that the Cardinals FO consults Holliday before signing people LOL.
Re: Matt Holiday conveniently forgives Peralta
In Holiday's defense there really wasn't much else he could say in that scenario. That being said here's hoping that both Holiday and especially Peralta have terrible years.
Re: Matt Holiday conveniently forgives Peralta
Is it still ok to hate the Cardinals?

Re: Matt Holiday conveniently forgives Peralta
This doesn't change that Holliday still believes Peralta should have been suspended for a full season. Nothing he can do about a new teammate. I still say the signing was the best available option especially considering how heavily front loaded the contract is, making it easier to move him in the future if necessary, and it didn't cost a draft pick.
Additionally, the cards still have lots of available cash. In fact, the reds payroll has surpassed the cardinals. As a Cardinal fan, it really annoys me to see big market clubs like SF, Chicago, LA, and Cincinnati spend their way to divisional titles while regular places like STL have to compete with less resources.

Its sarcasm. The reds payroll has surpassed the Cards this season, and it was only year ago when I would read on here how upset people were by how much the cardinals were able to spend. People would go so far as to say the cardinals are just like the Phillies, Cubs, and Giants.
I guess the reds are now like those clubs

Whadda guy. As the Bible instructs us, Mr. Holliday, first take the syringe out of your butt, then you can take the syringe out of your teammates' butt.
