Castro dealt to White Sox
Infielder Jose Castro has been traded to the Chicago White Sox and has been assigned to Triple-A Charlotte. Castro, 25, hasn't played yet in 2012 as he has been inactive on Billings' roster. The slick-fielding infielder will share infield duties with Ozzie Martinez and Tyler Kuhn for the Knights.
Re: Castro dealt to White Sox
Does Castro know Ozzie Guillon's in Miami now? :)
Re: Castro dealt to White Sox
I guess this means we didn't get any real return for trading Jeff Conine to the Mets. :(
Re: Castro dealt to White Sox
I'm wondering what we got? Sold him? PTBNL? Not expecting much.
Re: Castro dealt to White Sox
Redsmetz, I would guess the latter or maybe just cash.

MLB's transaction page now shows that it was a cash transaction. I was set to say that the $25K we probably got is 1/100 of 1% of JV's new contract, but realize that such transactions probably go back into the development budget.
