Volquez now with two consecutive full counts to Bruce in essentially the same at bat. Running mess up left Bruce at the plate, full count again.

Valdez has went to a full count on every batter except one so far. He has done it to Bruce twice so far.

Full counts aplenty.

After the first five Reds hitters, Volquez has thrown 40 pitches!

Maybe Bruce should try and get in a rundown so Volquez' inning can go faster.

Why would you go up there swinging at the first pitch? It's just not smart.
