Finally some love for Mr. Stephenson.

Re: Fangraphs 2014 Top 100 Prospects
16 in the AL Central and 6 are Twins...they're doing something right, awful SP signings aside.
Re: Fangraphs 2014 Top 100 Prospects
Bob Steve is the third overall pitcher behind Archie Bradley and Taijuan Walker. He's ahead of Dylan Bundy, Jameson Taillon and Kevin Gausman, among other notables.
Yeah, folks think he's pretty good, it seems.
Re: Fangraphs 2014 Top 100 Prospects
It is strange though because this is the only publication where he is getting this kind of respect. In most of the other rankings he is sitting between 25-30. Law puts him behind Guasman, Giolito, Taillon.
I believe Fangraphs more than Law though.
Also, are we really going with "Bob Steve?"

I think he looks a little baby faced so I am hereby going to call him "The Baby Faced Assassin"

I'm partial to Louis. As in Robert Louis Stevenson. But that's probably just me.

I sure hope not. Echoes of the howl or whatever that yipping was -- the woo? The one-syllable crowd's fight song.

The Reds' all-time saves leader already has that moniker, so I'm thinking we should go a different direction.
Re: Fangraphs 2014 Top 100 Prospects
Let's just stick with Robert Stephenson for now.

As another man with two first names, I proclaim my right to hereby call Robert Stephenson "Bob Steve."
Not really though.

I knew he reminded me of someone!
Re: Fangraphs 2014 Top 100 Prospects
Robert Stephenson's nickname from this point on shall be "The Engineer"
either that or "The Locomotive"

Re: Fangraphs 2014 Top 100 Prospects
The Engineer is too esoteric...people will never get the connection. This is the America where respondents were asked which came first, WWI or WWII and a full quarter of them got it WRONG! Think they'll connect an English engineer from the 19th century?
