I just imagine Chris Speier coming into the clubhouse today saying "you get the day off, and you get the day off, and you get the day off, and even you, you get the day off"
no stubbs at least ;)
Well, that's....interesting.
I like it. Gives me a much better chance of seeing a clinch on Sat or Sun when I got tickets!
throw away game, but who cares we have an 11 game lead
you have to feel for Cueto
Yes everyone needs time off, but not all on the same day
Here are my questions about today's line up
Why is Paul leading off?
Why is Cairo batting 2nd?
Shouldn't Heisey be leading off?
Shouldn't Gregorious be higher in the order than Cairo?
Why is Phipps even in the lineup?
We're going up against a pitcher who has thrown five innings all season...and given up 14 hits. Even this lineup has a decent chance to sratch across a few runs. And we've got Cueto going up against the second worst offensive team in the National League. If we get the Cueto we've grown accustomed to (especially in day games), we are conceding nothing.
I think this is a great way to give most of our regulars a day off in one shot...and still win ourselves a ballgame.
Anyone with SIRIUS XM radio, Jay Bruce will be on XM 89 / Sirius 209 at about 12:25 pm est. today. (MLB Network Radio)
Reds game will be on XM 87 today.
What? No Mesoraco?
Speier made out that lineup. Or maybe Kelch. Centerfielder hitting 6th. Shortstop 8th. Catcher 7th.
