Revere only makes sense IMO if you need a CFer.
His value is largely speed and defense. Reds would be paying for CF ability they don't need.
I don't see the fit.

With Frazier and Mesoraco, I think the Reds have the RH thump covered OK.
This would be adding another LHH and more speed (which they don't have outside BH) to the lineup.
Revere doesn't walk much, but he strikes out much less frequently than anything they're running out there right now.
Plus, he's only 26. It's not out of the realm of possibility that he has better years ahead. JMO.
He could also slip into a 4th OF role when Winker comes up.
If we're wanting to pick up bench help from the Phillies, I'd target Reid Brignac. Sort of younger and cheaper version of Ben Zobrist, as far as being versatile and a product of the Rays system. Has played 2B, SS, 3B, LF and RF in the majors, and a little bit of 1B in the minors. Hits left-handed, so would be a good fit backing up Phillips, Cozart and Frazier. He has never fulfilled his once highly vaunted potential, but now, at age 28, he does seem to be figuring more things out at the plate. With the Phillies this season, he's posting a slash line of .269/.347/.418.
Plays SS well enough that he could possibly platoon with Cozart to give us a little more pop out of that position in 2015.
Good call. He's playing very well right now.
Plus, this is his wife:

To each his own.
