That would be a 1969. My first car was a red 1968 Camaro (with the durable Chevy 327) and it was a hardtop.

Oh Lordy.... My dad had a baaad habit of buying first year new models, and so we had a '75 Granada. (we also had a first year Probe... He never learned...) Biggest disappointment we ever had in a Ford vehicle. (Of course, that was very possibly colored by the fact that it was the replacement car for the beloved '70 Torino GT that got totaled when some chick went left of center and hit dad head on)
Mine was a 1966 Karmann Ghia convertible.

It was a 6-volt, and I had to run my 8-track tape player off a 12-volt battery behind the driver seat. I had to charge it every few nights.
1988 Dodge Shadow Turbo. Hated it at the time, but looking back now that car was awesome.

Mine was a green 94 Camaro
1968 Ford Mustang with a 289 V-8. Dad bought the car in 1971 when it had 22,000 miles on it. It was originally white but after I wrecked it we had it re-painted twice, the second time navy with white racing stripes. It had over 100,000 miles on it when my sister took it over. I still miss that car.

Did your Capri have the six cylinder? They were pretty fun; a friend of mine had one.
