UC v. Murray State game thread

This game is going to be interesting on a couple of fronts. It's the first regular season game of the post-Huggins era, and Mick Cronin, head coach of Murray State and former Huggins and Pitino assistant, might be the new UC head coach this spring.

Chad Moore is ineligible for the first five games of the season. He didn't have doctors permission.

Herrera was ruled ineligible for the entire season, UC just can't catch a break. :(

This game is brick city so far.

UC has zero size, they are going to be dominated on the boards by a bunch of teams. :(

I think things are going to get really, really, ugly for her in the media if they keep playing like this. This is the worst defense I've seen from a UC team in 15 years, it's horrible.

I think the outcry is going to start up again if the game continues the way it is.

Only around 8k at the game tonight, very sad. Everytime UC makes a bucket Murray State answers with a 3.

Thoughts:

Tilford and Downey look like they are going to be solid contributers for the next four years. Both add a great deal of quickness and can shoot from range.

Unfortunatly, nobody else on this team can shoot. Armein Kirkland still looks inept. Hicks is trying to do it all by himself. Rebounding is nonexistant and the defense is pourous at best.

It is going to be a long season and UC is going to get blown out by some of the Big East teams if they don't improve quickly.
