Trading for Foulke
Not sure what is contract is with the Boston, however with the success of Papelbon closing and Krivsky having already dealt with the Redsox before, would it be possible you all think to get him in a trade?I know Theo Epstein has him in his plans to start later, however he doesn't seem to plan on shutting down his role as of yet.
Plus didn't Foulke say some things to erk the team or the fans?Just a trade possibility I was thinking about. |
Re: Trading for Foulke
no thanks.

Re: Trading for Foulke
I agree with Pedro. The Sox would not want to deal him for nothing, or Tony Womack, so the Reds shouldn't pursue this IMO.

Re: Trading for Foulke
I'd prefer a younger guy with a chance of striking some guys out. Foulke, while an upgrade, isn't that guy.

Re: Trading for Foulke
Foulke's done. Let him be someone else's problem.

Re: Trading for Foulke
Keith Foulks knees are a mess, his career is pretty much over.

Re: Trading for Foulke
I'd do it. But just to say this like "Foulke You Edmonds, now sit down"

Re: Trading for Foulke
Papelbon bothers me (not too much, since he's on my fantasy team) because he's exactly what I thought the Reds would be getting when they drafted Ryan Wagner.

Re: Trading for Foulke
Foulke for Womack? Sure, why not. If he does well with a change of scenery, he might be worth something.
It's not like the bullpen situation is going to fix itself, and Coffey likely will not see the closers role with Narron managing. |
