Well according to milb.com he hasn't played in 1 game this year.

I've had a nasty ankle sprain that took a very long time to heal. Out 'till June seems like a long time. I have heard that some sprains can be worse than a break (as far as healing time).

when i was 14 i sprained my ankle, had crutches for a month. couldn't walk without a huge limp for another three months, and didn't have full pain free movement in it til i was 16.


as far as DeWayne Rise goes, i'd love to see where he'd be now if the Blue Jays hadn't mucked up his development.
