In a weird, preverse sort of way, I'm glad that Milton and Ortiz failed so miserably in their first year here. Had they preformed very well, Linder may not have gone through with the sale to BC's group. Allen would have his fingers in the baseball operations still. Perhaps worse of all, it would be concievable that DanO would still be at the helm.
