Minny vs. Baltimore Game on 6-11-06
 

I was in a wedding up in Minneapolis over the past weekend and decided to check out the Dome and see a Sunday afternoon game.

I was pretty messy from a weekend of partying, but the stadium was real dull, and the PA gave me a headache. It was a good game, and I had really nice seats (10 rows behind homeplate), but the place was pretty dead. But watching Liriano pitch a 7 inning 1 hitter was pretty awesome. Since he was born in the DR I am going to assume he's at least a few years older than 22, but still he's got some sick stuff.

It will be good for the club when the Twin's get their new stadium.

I agree on Liriano, his stuff is pure filth, and for all the talk about "King Felix", for my money, Liriano is the best young pitcher in baseball. Not a slight on Hernandez either, but the hard fastball and off the table slider of Liriano are so nasty.

That's the worst ballpark in the world. I went to two games there last summer and it didn't even feel like i was at a baseball game. I hated it.
