Successfull West Coast Road Trip
What would be a sucessfull west coast road trip in your mind?
Obivously we want them to go 10-0 but realistically, what sort of reccord would you be happy with in light of the current standings (both division and WC race)? |
Re: Successfull West Coast Road Trip
5-5 but HOPE 7-3
|
Re: Successfull West Coast Road Trip
7-3 would be great, but I'd probably be dissappointed with anything less than 6-4
|
Re: Successfull West Coast Road Trip
6-4 or better. Anything less will be a disappointment.

Bottom line is the Reds can't go below .500 on this trip. 5-5 is a slight disappointment, but should keep us still in it. Anything under and we'd need a 7-8 game win streak to lock up the wild card, and I'm not 100% sure this team has that in them. |
Re: Successfull West Coast Road Trip
Two games better than the Cardinals' record the next ten games.

Re: Successfull West Coast Road Trip
I agree, 6-4, anything less would be dissapointing. 5-5 I could handle, 4-6 would be bad. 7-3 I would be thrilled!

Re: Successfull West Coast Road Trip
I'll take 6-4, 7-3 and three series wins would be nice.
But hey... 10 games in my timezone.... I'm psyched!! |
Re: Successfull West Coast Road Trip
It would have to be better than .500 because of the Wild Card implications.
NL West teams will playing against themselves mostly the rest of the way. So someone will have to win those games. The more losses we can burden the division as a whole with, the better. (if this makes sense). |
Re: Successfull West Coast Road Trip
6-4 will be successful IMO.

Re: Successfull West Coast Road Trip
.600 ball.. we gotta play .600 ball if we can do that.. we are going to the playoffs.
4 @ Giants, 3 @ Dodgers, 3 @ Padres I'd love to see us win each series which would be a 7-3 Trip. However, i'll settle for 6-4.........as i said .600 ball.. in the last 10 we've did just that and we've got to within 1 game of the cards who have gone 4-6... |
