Tony Menendez

How could the Reds have on their history books a pitcher who hurled four innings and gave up only one hit. Given the Reds history for pitching he should have been elevated to Pual Derringer status post-haste

Gorged by the rictus of obscurity, Dan Dumoulin, recipient of panegyrics, odes, epodes, broadsides, lais, and ghazals, expelled the contumely of sportswriters by allowing 8 ER in 5 1/3 IP in 1977. What pluck.

Menendez got the 2-1 win over the dreaded Buccos in July of 1992, he relieved hammond, although scott ruskin might have gotten the nod from the pen

No, no, no - Menendez was a late '50s Reds pitcher who actually left baseball and went into greater fame as a creator and producer of Charlie Brown TV Specials.
