Jayhawks win by 20 to squelch their recent 1st round jinx.

Need things to break my way today.

Wins by Creighton and Ga. Tech would be nice.

What the heck.

I'll say Winthrop over Notre Dame is the big news today.

Great minds think alike. I also believe Long Beach will knock off Tennessee.

Bill Simmons of ESPN.com Page 2 had this about LBSU ...

Sorry, had to pick the Beach to win two games. I've been a Long Beach supporter ever since Dre' and Snoop brought Compton and the LBC together in "The Chronic." Which reminds me, how much would you pay for a March Madness sequence where a Long Beach State player dunks on a fast break, followed by Gus Johnson losing his mind for a second and screaming, "Long Beach in the motha****** house!" I think I'd pay $750.

Virginia pounding Albany 21-4 to open the game.

North Texas up 10-5 over Memphis.

UNLV up on Ga. Tech.

If Ga Tech continues to look as bad as they have in the opening minutes. Ugh.

I need a big turn around today. UNLV and Winthrop can go a long way in getting that started.

They just showed a stat on CBS that said that Small Schools and Mid Majors are 3-12 in the tournament so far with only 1 of those wins coming against a "big school."

Also 14 of the 16 games have been decided by 9 points or more so far.

I'm liking the way the Mean Green from No. Texas are playing. They play hard and are crashing the boards. Still don't think they'll beat Memphis, but it's entertaining to watch.

That's a little skewed since Butler played ODU in an all mid-major extravaganza.

Will this be the year that no 10's beat 7's?

Sure looks like it. As overrated as Nevada is, I still think they handle Creighton.

Anyone watching UNLV and Ga Tech?

What is happening??

UNLV up two with just over a minute left. UNLV going to the line for one.

Timeout at the moment.
