I've never heard of Oberon beer. As long as they don't get rid of Great Lakes Burning River Ale I'll be a happy camper.

I've never heard of it either. Is it any good?

Of course it will only be sold in the upper deck behind 3rd base on day games on Tuesdays and Thursdays. ;)

A wheat ale in the heat is a good choice, not heavy and not an american lager.

Portland's big on those in the summer, they are served in a tall glass with lemon

An American wheat ale brewed with Saaz hops. Spicy and fruity, Oberon is the color and scent of a summer afternoon.

You sound like J. Peterman. ;)

Smells like a summer afternoon, huh? I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

After Ravenlord turned me on to Blue Moon, I love wheat ales.

Oberon is Bell's Oberon, right? It's pretty good. I'm not a big fan of wheat beers generally, but it's got a good flavor and is pretty light.

I've never heard it called just "Oberon" though, people always say the Bell's before it, but it has to be the same thing.

Or an orange, a lot places throw orange slices into them. I doubt that will happen at GABP though :)

I'm a huge fan of wheat beer so I am anxious to try this at a game now. Blue Moon is my favorite well-known beer.

I'm sure the good folks at GAB will take care of that.

Great Lakes, Holy Moses... yum.

While we are on the wheat beer discussion, Sam Adams White and Summer Ales are very, very, very good.

Man.... I love beer. Too bad beer at the stadium is so darn expensive. I guess I'll just stick to High Life and PBR.
