Dunn worth the risk?

I have an offer that was just sent to me. 7x7 league +E & BB on offense.

I trade:

Abreu
F. Cordero

I receive:

Dunn
Rowand

I have a gigantic lead in saves and would still have FRod, Reyes, and Accardo. I need HRs and RBIs.

Can you get anything better than Rowand in that deal?

I can't imagine he'll continue his seemingly career year.

With the year Cordero is having I would think you could land something other than Rowand in the deal. I don't think I would pull the trigger on that one.

Cordero is beginning to regress to career norms of allowing more baserunners so I think now is the time to cash him in if you are going to unload a closer. You should be able to get a lot more than Rowand though.

It's a good deal if you can replace Rowand with a better player. I agree that the time to cash in in Cordero is now. He's going to come back to earth right quick.

The only other played on his roster that might be movable would be Sheffield. He has Ortiz, Fielder, Rollins, A. Ramirez, Holliday. The guy has more HRs than he'll ever be able to use. This is also a 2 player keeper league. I'd try to get Ramirez in the deal but I have ARod.

I also thought about trying for a pitcher. He has Smoltz, but he currently has 3 healthy starters so I know he wouldn't move one. He has Schilling and Johnson on the DL.

Here is the offer I made that he rejected today:

I get: Dunn and Sheffield

I trade: Abreu, Cordero, and Rich Hill

I tried to get Sheffield from him before Sheff went nuts the last month but he never was around (out of town working)

I think I might change my startegy and use Cordero and Hardy (I have Reyes) and try to pry a stud SP. I've punted holds all year so trading a closer would open that spot up and I'll still never lose my saves lead most likely.

My next offer to go out will be Cordero for Escobar. My starting pitching would then be Zambrano, Sheets, Escobar, Hill, and Shields. I would also still have Gorzelanny as a trade chip.

Anyone think I should re-visit the Dunn/Rowand for Abreu/Cordero deal?

Dunn sure doesn't seem like he's going to slow up.
