Need 2 tix to 9/2 Dragons game
 

I'm going to be in Dayton for Labor Day. The wife has never seen a Dragons game. Only one we can go to is the Sunday night game on 9/2.

Anyone have some for sale? (I'm too old to sit in the grass!!)

Not everyone shows up for everygame. Buy lawn seats if you have to and move into a pair of chairs. Look like you know where you're going and you'll be fine

Ditto what Zippy said. Start in the lawn, or just stand for a few minutes scouting out seats. It's a guarantee you'll find open seats somewhere. There are always a ton of open seats right behind home plate, section 109 and adjacent sections.

That might be a fallback position for me, but I'd really like to start with my own seats if possibe.

Jax, I'll check with my sources to see if I can find you some tickets to that game. You only need 2, correct?

Good to hear. My oldest has select tryouts this coming weekend so we're putting your net to full use all week long. That's the plan at least. He hit for 1 1/2 hrs last night.


Jax: I talked to the guy I normally get my tickets from. He splits season tickets with 4 other guys. He doesn't have that day, but knows who does. He's going to contact him to see if the tickets are available. When I hear back from him, I'll let you know. I'm hoping they are available as they are great seats and provide a great experience for those that haven't been to a game at 5/3rd before.

It would be much appreciated. I've been to one Dragons game, and I've been raving for 2 years to my wife about how good a job they do.

Jax. The guy that had the tickets to the 9/2 game already sold those tickets to one of his friends that wanted them, so no dice there.

I will keep looking around for you and let you know if I find anything.


On a somewhat related note, I just got a call from the Dragons that my oldest has been selected as a Kroger Baseball Buddy for the August 5th game (Sunday, 7pm). He gets a replica Dragons jersey and gets to go into the dugout pre-game, then out on the field with a player for the National Anthem. We also get 6 lawn tickets to the game to see him. He's absolutely geeked up about it, as he should be. Should be a good time and a memorable experience for him.

Jax, I bumped this up to see if you had gotten your tickets yet.

There are a row of chairs in the lawn seats on the back. You have to ask for them at the gate. So, you still can have lawn seats, but you can have the chair row.

My tickets are for 8/31 so I'm out. Sorry.
