Thanks guys. Anyways, I was thinking at the end of the season, we should all take a few hitting prospects and compile a stat line like this that includes batted ball data and other fun stuff like that. I think we'd learn a lot if we had some kind of sticky library with organized and in depth stats. Instead of just noticing that a guy raised his average 40 points from the previous season, we may have a better idea of why and whether or not it's likely to continue. Just a thought. It'd at least give us something to do other than make an endless amount of prospect lists.

That's where I got the data from, but the balls in play stats are in like table form. If we could organize it into percentages of each batted ball type and batting average on each one, it'd be way easier to understand at a glance. Here's what I had in mind for the batted ball stats...it looks wierd, but you get the picture.
