Cameron kinda gave Ross a mini-forearm shiver to the head.

Some felt the contact was intentional, some felt Ross was in front of the plate enough to make him fair game.

Pretty close call IMO.

He also hit the back of his head on the dirt. More PT for Javy.

And all the time, we can hear the sweet, soft voice of Wayne Krivsky saying, "I told you we needed three catchers."

Yea, it looked pretty ugly. Ross got spun around and knocked on his keister. I could hear the sickening "smack" as they colided up in the 200's section.

He was down for quite a while. Not sure if it was a cheapshot or an accident, but either way, Ross got drilled IMO.

http://www.redszone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61453 Dodgers for cash considerations.

This team is having bad luck this year with head injuries. Freel, Lopez and now Ross.

Where have you gone, Chad Moeller?
RedsZone turns its lonely eyes to you--woo, woo, woo.
What's that you say, Mr. Brennaman?
Ryan Jorgensen has left Louisville and is on his way--hey, hey, hey...hey, hey, hey!

Does this make Valentin the full-time catcher, even vs. LHP? I think it might.

Yeah, this is exactly how I feel. I don't know Cameron and his play very well, but many have indicated that he's not a dirty player and that they would be surprised if it was intentional. So, I'll give Cameron the benefit of the doubt.
