For all those who felt Cordero was not enough for our BP to to be respectable and were pushing to sign Huston Street, the A's resigned him for a year.

Terms: one-year $3.3M.

I would have given him more than that and for at least 3 years.

He's arb eligible. All this means is that they signed him to a 1 year deal to avoid arbitration. The A's still own his rights for 2 more years after this. He could still be traded and it doesn't effect his value in anyway. But it would be a horrible move to trade for him.
