You mean I'm still allowed to post in the UK thread? Sweet! What about dab? Has he been voted off?

Wait a minute, I didn't vote him off. I demand a recount.

Kentucky should easily beat either of them.

A question for fellow Cats fans:

Do you think that the style we have seen lately is going to be the way Gillespie's teams play in the future?

I understand that he is sitting on the ball mostly due to a lack of depth, but Texas A&M wasn't known as a wide open, scoring, fast paced offensive team. They won in ways that are eerily similar to Tubby-Ball, by playing great defense with a limited offense that counts on big shots towards the end of the shot clock (from A.C. Law at A&M alot like Tubby did with Gerald Fitch and Bogans at UK). I see that still being the style of play at UK in the years to come and are Cats fans okay with that? When I was living in Lexington (02-05), I constantly heard the fans pining for the 90+ point games during the Pitino days with UK jacking up tons of three's, pressing, and running up and down the floor on almost every possession. I'm not sure that will happen if Patterson is your main option?

Gillispie adjusts his offense to fit his players. If he has the horses to run an up and down style game I believe he would do it. Problem is, he is lucky to have the players conditioned the way they are to play the style he wants. I think after the death of John Stewart that Tubby was afraid to push his players too hard.

Yes. Ole Miss will be a tough game IMO. UK doesn't matchup that well with them. They have good size and are very physical. Plus, Warren is a pretty good guard. But every game in the SEC has been tough this season so nothing new there.

I think they will press and run more with more players. It won't be a total milk the clock offense like it is now. As for 90 point games for an average, those days are gone for almost everyone. As long as Gillispie wins most everyone will be happy. You will,of course, have those few that will grumble and growl and generally won't ever be happy.

Mine too. I like the conference tourney week the best because everyone is in it and has a chance to be in the NCAA's.
