Definitely a solid ratio for Bailey. It'll be interesting to watch his progress.
Re: Thursday April 3rd minor league Opening Day updates
That line on Carroll is freakin incredible. K's and grounders. Nice start
Re: Thursday April 3rd minor league Opening Day updates
Frazier is 0-for-1 with two walks. Waring is 1-for-3 with the single.

That is very, very impressive.
Drew Stubbs is 1-for-2 with a single, walk, and stolen base off Liriano.
Re: Thursday April 3rd minor league Opening Day updates
Lefties hit .202/.261/.250 - .511 OPS off Liriano in 2006 in the majors. That makes Francisco's 3-for-3 night with three doubles that much more impressive.

His fastball is weak though well delivered. If he can't develope his offspeed stuff, he won't make it. Looks like a shine and ship player right now. No room for him anyway.
Re: Thursday April 3rd minor league Opening Day updates
Chris Valaika just belted a 2-run HR.
Francisco followed with a single, he's now 4-for-4 with three doubles and a single.
Stubbs then walked for the 2nd time tonight.
Heisey is 2-for-3 with a double and 3 RBI.
