That Referee played linebacker at UK from 1967-70. I think he lost a bet on the UK/USC game from the previous week and was going to take it out on Garcia.

I saw that clip the other day. Is it real? For the life of me I cannot figure out what the Ref was trying to do.

Yeah it is real. I think the ref said after the game that he had a flashback or something. :lol: As cumberland posted, he did play linebacker in college.

Hines Ward would probably do a helmet-first tackle before the whistle blew. And at the poor guy's funeral, Ward would dump the corpse out and start taking cheap shots at the family. Whines Hard is really cheap and definitely going to hell.
