Shocker in New Orleans?
Utah up 21-0 at the end of the first quarter.
89.3% on ESPN predicted Alabama would win this game. I'm kinda torn on who to pull for. The SEC has only lost one bowl game so far, but I always dig the underdog. |
Re: Shocker in New Orleans?
pac-10 is 5-0 who said the pac-10 is weak?

Re: Shocker in New Orleans?
94% predicted Texas Tech would beat Ole Miss....
Just sayin' |
Re: Shocker in New Orleans?
I'm not sure if Utah is lookin' this good, or Bama is lookin' this bad....

Re: Shocker in New Orleans?
Bama sleepwalking this one

Re: Shocker in New Orleans?
21-10 now.

Re: Shocker in New Orleans?
This isn't that much of a shocker. Alabama is really good, but they were never a great team. And Utah is much better than people give them credit for. People are way too in to brand name when they think about these games.

Re: Shocker in New Orleans?
I would love to see Utah pull off the upset. They're playing really well tonight. :)

Re: Shocker in New Orleans?
I don't really see this as a shocker, Utah is undefeated.
Now, Tex Tech getting blown out by Ole Miss... ;) |

The Mountain West Conference maybe? They went what, 6-1 vs the Pac 10 this year? |
Re: Shocker in New Orleans?
Congrats Utah!! What a great season they've had and I'm really happy for them. :D

Re: Shocker in New Orleans?
Prepare yourself for the talking heads proclaiming the Utes #1.
In retrospect...the lack of support for USC in the title game was ridiculous. |
Re: Shocker in New Orleans?
As much as this season proves the flaws in the BCS is it also shows that a plus-1 system would be just as flawed. There were at least five teams with legit claims to the championship and two more if you include Texas Tech and Alabama who looked legit before the bowl games.
