Seriously...what are the odds
that Toothpick has ever even glanced at any of his player's career stats?
We know he can't be bothered to actually know who's on the 40-man roster. That's according to him. The 25-year-old Balentien's career minor league OPS is 0.871, while the 30-year-old McDonald's 0.734. That's a significant difference. But Darnell is the Toothpick choice. Bear in mind that Jonny Gomes was actually DFA'd to keep McDonald at the start of the season. I just wish Jocketty actually had the guts to tell the blind Castellini the obvious. |
Re: Seriously...what are the odds
Dusty is hopeless in so many ways. And if I don't see Darnell McDonald again after 2009 it won't be soon enough.

Re: Seriously...what are the odds
From within the organization,------which is most likely to be the case for next year, LF should be a platoon of Gomes and Dorn. That should be 35+ HRS and 100 RBI's. CF should be Stubbs to lose. SS? Dunno.. Maybe Valaika?

Re: Seriously...what are the odds
I'm fairly certain Dusty thinks OPS means Operation: Player Scrappiness, under which case, McDonald certainly should play ahead of Balentien every day, and Rosales would play ahead of Pujols.
