He actually is throwing it for strikes, its that they are getting pounded today. He really needs to locate his fastball primarily, and go slow with the off-speed stuff.

Hopefully he's a bit warmer now.

what happened to the splitter that Lehr taught him? don't think he threw it in the first inning?

Homer looked fine until he had to face a real hitter like Braun. That homer spooked him, plus he faced two more really good hitters.

Sometimes it's more about the other guys than it is you.

The Reds just need to hang close in this one. The Brewers bullpen is bad and they should be able to light them up.
