Re: 3/18/11 Reds Vs. Baby Bears
For the record, Bailey is pitching in a minor league game today. That pretty much means he is the Reds #4 starter. They don't think they need to see him against MLB hitters.

Reds top of the 1st:
Stubbs K looking Phillips BB Votto K Rolen 8 0-0 |
Re: 3/18/11 Reds Vs. Baby Bears
Colvin 8
Castro 6 (nice play deep in the hole by Janish) Byrd BB Ramirez 8 End 1 0-0 And back to work for me. I'll try update when I can. BTW, when I went to Az last year, the games in Mesa were intolerable. Cub fans are miserable no matter where they are. |

Going to the bottom of the 5th |
Re: 3/18/11 Reds Vs. Baby Bears
Cubs now lead 9-6 after 5 innings, as Burton takes the mound and surrenders 3 runs in the fifth. LeCure, Herrera and Burton all looking like the B-squad in this game against the Adolescent Bears. Love that handle!
Anyone hear what's happening with Bailey in the minor league game? |

Re: 3/18/11 Reds Vs. Baby Bears
Get out the laughing gas!
Reds now take 10-9 lead in this game of playground seesaw with the Adolescent Bears. It's the end of the 7th. Maloney preserved our 1-run advantage pitching an inning, surrendering a walk and a hit but ceding no runs to the Chicagoans. We racked up four runs in the sixth inning on a series of doubles (by Gomes, Hanigan) and RBI singles (by Stubbs, Phillips, Votto). |
Re: 3/18/11 Reds Vs. Baby Bears
Reds up 14-12 after 8
