Peter Falk R. I. P.

Peter Falk has died, age 83.
Best known of course as TV's "Columbo," I also think of him in "The Great Race," as Jack Lemmon repeatedly told him to "push the button, Max," usually with resulting ill effects.
R.I.P.

I loved his Columbo characterization so much that I had trouble accepting him in other roles. That was my fault, though. R.I.P.

This is how I first knew him, Columbo reruns came latter. Either way he was great fun to watch.

I use to try to stay up late and watch Colombo reruns after the late news on the CBS station.

Here's a story on Jerry Lewis. Looks like he is too ill to perform:

I liked Colombo but my favorite role of his was Sam Diamond in Murder by Death.

Sam Diamond: Shut up, all of ya's. Nobody move!

Dick Charleston: What is it?

Sam Diamond: I have to go to the can again. I don't wanna miss nothin.

:D

He wasn't the star, but my favorite movie he was in was The Great Race with Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon

Along with Annette Funicello, they formulated my ideal of a woman.
