I wish all of our guys had at-bats like Sappelt. I don't even care that he didn't get a hit, he's working the pitcher...it's a good thing.

Re: Padres @ Reds 8/13/11
When that came off the bat, I thought it might end up in the river.

Re: Padres @ Reds 8/13/11
Dunno what to make of Homer. I really don't. A better lineup would have made him pay for the last inning, but he got out of it and made some really good pitches in so doing.

Big shot!

Re: Padres @ Reds 8/13/11
We're entering "Carlos Zambrano warning" territory, aren't we?

Re: Padres @ Reds 8/13/11
Holy smoke. They are crushing the ball tonight. 9-0.

Re: Padres @ Reds 8/13/11
Time for Bailey to get a Homer
.... I'm sorry. |
Re: Padres @ Reds 8/13/11
Stubbs and Sappelt need to hit HRs to complete the set.
Sorry, Paul. |
Ya ... I could get used to this

Re: Padres @ Reds 8/13/11
So much for Homer's shutout
|
Re: Padres @ Reds 8/13/11
That may be one of the best reactions I've ever seen from a pitcher that just gave up a long ball.
