Beer Thread :Spinoff
As I start this I am actually drinking one of these.

^A beer actually named after the DTs. You have to admire the boldness.

Re: Beer Thread :Spinoff
Leinenkugel makes a Fireside Nut Brown only in November and December. I have only found 1 six pack this year so far. It's a "lighter" dark beer (if I can say that) with faint caramel hint. Will fill you up quick, very good.

I love how a case of Yuengling only cost $1 more than Bud Light. That's fantastic!

Yes, the Yuengling is good beer in my opinion. I am also impressed at the pricing as it is around the same price as the Miller Lite that I drink most often. I was in the back patio last night talking to my neighbor and he was drinking a Yuengling Light (Lite?). |

I bought Yuengling the other day to try it again and to save a few bucks. I was hoping it was going to be better than I remembered. Unfortunately, it wasn't. I doubt I'll buy it again. On a different note, I went to Zip's last Saturday and had the Great Lakes Christmas Ale on draft again. Fantastic as usual. I try to make an annual trip there for a burger and the beer. |
Re: Beer Thread :Spinoff
Yeah, Yuengling is overhyped, but for its price range it is still much better than Bud Light IMO...

Re: Beer Thread :Spinoff
Bud heavy please. I think Yuengling is good, but not a world beater. I was pumped to try it, the hype made it sound like it should taste like Paula Dean was making a meal in your mouth, I was a bit disapointed.
