ST: Reds vs. Angels Wed. 3/28
Arroyo looked good in the top of the first.
Valdez in for Cozart. Nobody will convince me that he is a better player than Janish. But Dusty doesn't love Veteran Creaminess. No way.
Rolen looking better than he has in years per Marty/Cowboy.
Reds get a leadoff single and a stolen base but strand Phillips at second.
Re: ST: Reds vs. Angels Wed. 3/28
Three frozen ropes to load the bases in the second with two out and the pitcher coming up. Arroyo not looking so good here in the second. Walks the pitcher to force in a run. Haren never once took the bat off his shoulder. LOL.
Re: ST: Reds vs. Angels Wed. 3/28
Drew with a ringing double with two outs. My bad. Gameday shows Stubbs at first and with the speed of Stubbs I just assumed he would be on second. I am pretty sure Stubbs doubled. In any case, Hanigan drives him with a flare into the right field corner.
Re: ST: Reds vs. Angels Wed. 3/28
Wells takes Bronson deep in the third with two down.
Re: ST: Reds vs. Angels Wed. 3/28
Brandon whacking the ball pretty good right now. 6 of his last 7.
Re: ST: Reds vs. Angels Wed. 3/28
Reds work the hit and run to perfection. Runners on the corners.
5-4-3. Phillips scores to tie.
Rolen triples down the right field line.
Bruce blisters the ball right back at Haren, who knocks it down, fields and nips Bruce at first.
Re: ST: Reds vs. Angels Wed. 3/28
Francisco taking over for Rolen in the top of the fourth. Hope there is nothing to that.
Re: ST: Reds vs. Angels Wed. 3/28
1-2-3 for Bronson.
1-2-3 for Bronson. Seven in a row.
1-2-3 for Bronson. Ten in a row.
Kudos to Bronson.
Re: ST: Reds vs. Angels Wed. 3/28
Sit down. Paul Janish left the stadium today. Hard to believe.
Okay. I still find it hard to believe. Paul "Babe" Janish hit a baseball, from home plate, that went over the outfield wall.
Paul Janish hit a home run today. Wow.
