Thursday 5/24/2012 Minor League Updates
AAA - Louisville visits Indianapolis. Just about set to kick things off.
Jeff Francis takes the ball for the Bats. Okay year so far for Francis. I bet he wishes that he opted out when he had a chance at the end of Spring Training. |
Re: Thursday 5/24/2012 Minor League Updates
AA - Mississippi travels to Pensacola. Game will start in about one hour. J.C. Sulbaran hoping to get back on the good foot tonight.

High A
Thirsty Thursday in Bakersfield as they host San Jose. Early returns are the fans are upset that Tony Cingrani is going for the Blaze. He usually makes quick work of the opposing team so it is hard to hustle out for a quick cold one. Game starts at 7:30 PDT. |
Re: Thursday 5/24/2012 Minor League Updates
Low A - Dayton travels to Lansing. Game almost underway. Dan Jensen (2.43) working the bump tonight.

Is this the Reds last year there? Don't they work on two-year contracts?

Re: Thursday 5/24/2012 Minor League Updates
Francis did well tonight: 7 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 4 K. It's 1-1 in the 10th. Dioner Navarro has a couple hits for the Bats.

Re: Thursday 5/24/2012 Minor League Updates
Louisville is an offensive powerhouse. Just wait until Joey Gathright gets there. Break up the Bats!
|
Re: Thursday 5/24/2012 Minor League Updates
If Gathright gets added to the roster I wonder who gets subtracted?

Re: Thursday 5/24/2012 Minor League Updates
If Partch was still in Bakersfield he would have to pitch on every home Thursday.
|
Re: Thursday 5/24/2012 Minor League Updates
The curiously spelled Yordanys Perez has a 2-run HR and Pensacola leads 3-2 after six. Sulbaran went 5.2.
|
Re: Thursday 5/24/2012 Minor League Updates
David Vidal making a slow adjustment to AA.
|
Re: Thursday 5/24/2012 Minor League Updates
Dayton succumbs 5-2. Kurt Muller with two more hits. He is batting .538.
|
Re: Thursday 5/24/2012 Minor League Updates
Dan Jensen walked six in 4 IP tonight, which is something you can't do if you pitch for the Dayton Dragons. Adding in the efforts of James Allen and El'Hajj Muhammad, Dayton pitchers walked an even dozen.
