I swear.

Please tell me Heisey isn't feeling well or has a sore hammy or something.

Off days, although one day, make it seem like the team goes a week between games. Talking about them during that time on these forums only makes it longer.

win-hungry Reds roll through this one. 9-2 Leake pitches 7 innings.

Have not heard, Jamie Ramsey of the Reds is the one who tweeted the change.

Astros line-up for tonight:

Schafer CF
Altuve 2B
Lowrie SS
Lee 1B
Johnson 3B
Bogusevic RF
Martinez LF
Snyder C
Happ P

Phillips (2.139 OPS) and Votto (.962 OPS) have had some success against Happ in small sample sizes, while Bruce is hitless against him in six ABs. OTOH, Johnson has a 1.694 OPS against Leake for his career.

Ludwick does hit a lot of fly balls to left and the Crawford Boxes are about 20 feet behind shortstop.

Yeah, Heisey isn't very good at hitting fly balls to left??

Re: Reds vs. Astros Friday 6/1

Heisey is the hottest hitter on the team and he has the third highest batting average. Dusty Baker's loyalty to suck is amazing. I know, we gotta get Ludwick some bats so he gets out of his season long slump. Sit Drew Stubbs for crying out loud.

Re: Reds vs. Astros Friday 6/1

It is a hot Houston day, but cooling temperatures should prevail in the evening. I predict the Reds to struggle for runs tonight, blow out the Stros on Saturday and fight in a close one on Sunday.

Predictions:
Friday: loss 2-5
Saturday: win 7-2
Sunday: win 6-4

5-3 Reds

Re: Reds vs. Astros Friday 6/1

That 5-3 might be a good call. I am a little shaky on tonight. I do think the Reds are going to score some runs with the nice humidity. Having said that the Astros play very well at home.
